Express NRP Provider Course - 5hrs:
This course is 5hrs. It contains hands on skills sets training, ISSA and debriefing, but is more condensed than the 7hr program. This course is great for indiviudals who have done the 7th edition in the past and/or have a strong knowledge base regarding the 7th edition, and skills. For indivudials who require more hands on experience/training and/or more time, the 7hr standard course will be benificial.
Standard NRP Provider Courses - 7hrs:
This course is 7hrs and takes more time to explore all the skills in greater detail. It contians hands on skills sets training, ISSA and debriefing. This course is great for individuals who have never taken the 7th edition and/or would like more time to practices skill sets, ask questions.

This interactive course will provide individuals with a hands on opportunity to utilize the knowledge learned from the 7th edition NRP texbook. By the end of the course individuals should be able to demonstrate the steps and skills required for NRP in various settings (hospital, home birth, birth centre). Individuals will have an opportunity to discuss and practice:
- The inital steps of neonatal resuscitation
- Ventilation (PPV, CPAP)
- Chest compression
- Airway alternatives (intubation and LMA)
- Ubilical vein catheration (UVC) and Intraosseous Devices (IO)
- Medication
All indivudals will be required to successfully pass an exam that demonstrate the NRP skills. Individuals who successful complete the course and intergrated skills station assessment (ISSA), will receive an NRP Provider ecard emailed from the Canadian Pediatric Society (CPS)
